    Happy Solstice to Everybody!

    • Watching now, international crowd! 01:01:01 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2TNQt4iVqY

        • Last evening, under the waning light, I was pleased to see a clear patch of sky, Jupiter soon to appear. Then a dark layer of clouds slowly blowing to the Southeast covered the sky. Discouraged I went inside, kept poking my head out as the moon danced in and out of the clouds. An hour later I noticed the moon out so I went to see, and on the horizon I saw a little red/orange dot. I ran and grabbed my binoculars, found a good position and looked. I saw two orange/red orbs of similar size, the top one Saturn just above Jupiter. Then moments later I could only see one. I was happy to see it even if it was for less then five minutes. And seeing it on the horizon was really cool.

          • Oh I just can’t wait to see this dynamic torsion template…should we buckle up…ha

          • And Happy Solstice to you as well, and everyone else….

              • Finally saw ir tonight. Appeared to be Titan on the side. The clouds have been strange, but for a brief time tonight, saw it.

                  • We were so blessed to have clear skies, and saw it very clearly, even through the ‘now-bare’ tree limbs. Even the glow of the city lights were not able to keep it from being seen as it was very bright. Glad you were able to get at least a ‘brief’ view.

                • Ditto. Let’s hope the rebirth of the Sun will dispel some of the darkness of 2020!
