Widespread 911 issues in the Nashville area were reported after AT&T wireless and internet service were disrupted on Friday hours following a massive explosion downtown.
AT&T internet and phone service were disrupted in the area about 12 p.m. Friday. The outages continued into the evening.
Since they knew just where to hit, this wasn’t some random loons playing online-plus-real-life games. (Those kinds of games are what the ARG/LARP hypothesis refers to, right? I had to look up those acronyms… so maybe I’m missing something.) On the other hand, I wouldn’t be surprised if intel agencies used such games to recruit totally unwitting patsies to carry out ops in real life.
