    Topic – mRNA editing:
Certain cephalopods edit their own RNA.

A quote from an article published on Cell 4/6/17.
“These data support the hypothesis that recoding by RNA editing is mostly neutral or detrimental and only rarely adaptive (Xu and Zhang, 2014).”
Something to contemplate in regard to the risks and real purpose for mRNA injections.

    • Great article.
Leaves one speculating like hell, in the high octane lanes.

      • Having spent a great deal of my life working on commercial fishing vessels .. I have had many .. many an encounter with these critters .. They are smarter than most humans .. Thanks for posting ..

          • If you haven’t yet had the opportunity, you may enjoy reading Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery.
I resided in WA for many years and unfortunately did not get to go diving at a place called Octopus Hole near Hoodsport. Should I find myself there again, it will be first on my list of ‘to do’s’ 🙂

              • Funny you should mention that book. I love octopuses (as everyone knows, along with steam locomotives, roller coasters, and really big artillery…lol). It’s an enjoyable easy to read book that manages also to raise some interesting questions.

                  • I’ve always enjoyed a good roller coaster ride 🙂 and am fond of travel by train (have not had the pleasure of a steam powered one).
As an aside, I thought I’d mention that during your pseudo-absence, I have been working to bring myself up to speed via some of your archived member videos – fascinating topics. This has led to the ordering of more books – lol! Some of yours and some by other authors. You are adding to my mental growth and fun – Thank you.
