Ok folks, our posting of the first fireside chat has just gone up in the members’ area. I’m posting this EARLY, even though the chat will not be until January 29th. Remember, these new chats are designed to be (1) shorter, and (2) to the point, and (3) posted early to allow chatters to post their comments and questions in the comments area publicly beforehand so that people can see what everyone’s questions and comments are before the chat. Eventually, we hope to expand this new platform in other ways that we’ll eventually disclose provided some technical issues get resolved, but for the moment, we’re going with this.
Remember too these chats will only be three hours in length with, at best, only a half-an-hour of “pre-chat”. So questions and comments taken will be on a first come, first serve basis within the allotted time. This new style chat is not replacing our other longer vidchats.
But you asked for more thematic, shorter vidchats… so here we go! This chat will post the video for the chat after it is recorded, but your comments and questions are now open! All you have to do is log into the members’ area, and just post your comment and questions in the comment section. For the moment, I’m not setting any limit, but remember, these fireside vidchats are designed to be shorter, to the point, and eventually, we hope, “thematic”.
