I’m convinced some of the top Western corporate elites, with all their visits to China to do business, look at Chinese society and–without thinking twice about China’s contempt for human life–say to themselves, “What a great job the Chinese do at keeping their people in line! I wish we could do that.” I think this is one reason (above and beyond any CCP infiltration of the West) for the attempt to import Chinese-style social control to the West.
