  Yes, his discussion is interesting… taking the broader aspect, any written work is an exercise in the creation and perception of something existing in the world of thought, i.e. hyperdimensionally, and such perception endows it with its own reality. The question is, can this hyperdimensional reality be brought into manifestation, whatever the specific context of the work, fiction or non-fiction?
