      Sounds like what was stolen was a legit known da Vinci copy by Giacomo Alibrandi. You think they switched the legit copy with a fake? Evidently fraudsters these days even have ways of making the paint and canvas seem much older. Hilarious the museum didn’t even notice it missing, with the lockdowns probably lots of thefts of all types have taken place.
