They got rid of the Trump among other things thru social unrest. It is time for Putin now. He isn’t saint but whoever is coming after him will be 10 times worse.

Hmmmm. Got rid of Trump? They replaced Trump through fraud; the civil unrest was just a sidebar. Note: they did not get rid of Trump and even when they “impeach him”, they will not have removed him from any equation.

Will that tactic work in Russia? Social media is notorious for misleading on current events not to mention outright lies about such things, and they always have an army of “do gooder” trolls ready to add their 2 cents worth. Btw I dislike putin under the general principle that he’s a politician and I don’t trust any of them; especially the career politicians.

I think it’s more a harassment tactic than anything that’s going to topple a regime. Unless there’s already significant internal opposition to Putin? I don’t know the details of contemporary Russian politics. If I had to guess, I’d say the majority of the population doesn’t want a Western puppet in charge, but feel free to correct me.

No, young people in Ru actually are very pro western, but they can be easly manipulated to something they dont fully understand. The fear in Ru is that power thru social unrest can be grabbed by so called. “Silovczyki” fraction of the Ru deep s…e. and that means war.
