Tidbit: Wizard of Oz remake announced. Like the original and the subsequent versions – and given the times – there can be no doubt that it will regard the financial and monetary system.

  I read an interesting analysis pertaining to the original Oz story, in it Dorothy’s slippers were made of silver. It was meant to be a parody and perhaps admonition of the financial system.
