    Good News! At least in a small way. Some background…
    A couple of weeks ago, I made a decision based largely on an article that was shared with me to Stop wearing a mask of any sort (below the nose is what I was doing in places that “required” them). I should state, for those who do not know, I live in a small town, mostly conservative, in a Blue state.
    Here is my experience…
    Two weeks ago when I first completely stopped wearing the mask in my local grocery store and local pharmacy, no one said a word. In the grocery store, there was only myself and one other person not wearing a mask. In the pharmacy, it was just me.
    A week later, it was pretty much the same.
    Today, a week after that, in the grocery store, there was about 25% Not wearing masks!
    In the pharmacy, it was still just me. But, I was still not harassed in any way.
    I look at this as progress and a good omen. Things can change for the better. We just need to put energy toward it.

      Go PiPoe! I’ve noticed a small improvement in my area as well. Let’s let the face diaper thing wither and die from lack of interest and put our energy in life affirming things

        Awesome to know people are doing this. I live in the Pacific NW and I made the decision not to wear a mask in public at all. I wear a face shield at work only (face shield up) as a compromise just in case someone is nervous but I have never been maltreated myself. I’ve had people try to start conversation and when I was able to ask them some very poignant questions, they strategically removed themselves from the conversation but all of these interactions were done “pleasantly”. I did have some weird people follow me giving me the stink eye a few times and someone getting very loud in another case but at the end of months under these conditions, I can say that I was lucky in how everything turned out.
        I can’t say I’ve had the same impact since everyone here is glued to their TV but one thing that I could say helped my situation is that I did it from the start and never waivored on my position. If I did, I could assume that my work at least would not have been so courteous to my position. To this I can say that Del Bigtree and the Highwire was invaluable.

            Marvelous to hear that you have not been accosted. It’s interesting, one of the books I am currently reading is Morphic Resonance by Rupert Sheldrake. Summarizing in a way oversimplified manner, he discusses how a species (humans included) can and do unconsciously spread information to each other. If this posit holds true, then I would expect as more and more people take a stand, the numbers should start to increase at an exponential rate. I’m holding onto that thought 🙂

                I’ve noticed a similar pattern. Even though our infections in NSW have declined, it’s still mandatory to wear a face mask on public transport. However, there are more people not wearing them on platforms and bus depots (that also form part of the mandate). I only cover my mouth and leave my nose free to breathe. Having a sense of freedom might be the key to some form of dimensional doorway back to that other world where it seems we’ve all been pushed out from. Perhaps Morphic Resonance is the universe’s natural communication method.
