Speaking of the dislike button… 20 dislikes in a row within a 3-minute period by the same user on a seemingly random set of comments. Anyone else have this happen? I’ll ignore it unless it’s happening to others on here.

No, but I use a PC, there could be trouble on smaller devices.

On what comment did this happen? I looked around and didnt see it. Did it get taken down or something? Strange.

Originally, the dislikes were on 20 different comments. The “so-and-so disliked your comment…” notifications are still in my account, but when I checked a few of those comments today, the dislikes had been removed.

I really dont care ,,,every one has a position to disagree , that would be the essence of debate as opposed to echo chamber. God bless ’em and may they have a nice day.

It wasn’t someone disagreeing. Nobody can read, absorb, and disagree with 20 unrelated comments in the space of 3 minutes. It could only be spamming, trolling, or childishness. Since I now know it was a one-off and only affected me, I don’t care.

Yes. It happened to me in early January from one user who took offense at my comment re: one of his posts. I deleted them all with a “consider the source” attitude. In retrospect, my comment/observation, brief and respectful, was correct, given subsequent events. Most folks at this site are respectful whether they disagree or otherwise.
