… Well now … King Abbot has graced us with the rescinding (or is it really a recension?) of his majesty’s royal mask and occupancy decrees. Hmmmmm. This shouldn’t excite anyone, it is NEITHER a return to normalcy, NOR is it an indication of a metanoic movement toward sanity. It is an act of political expediency nothing more. It is an act of political sleight of hand. It is an attempt at perception control. Nothing more than the redirecting of attention. Screwed up power grid … look over here … no more mask or occupancy requirements. He took no questions following the announcement. The decrees are still in effect for another week. Why wasn’t the ending of the decrees immediate? What will be true in a week that will not be true as of midnight tonight? Oh, by the way ,,, entities (e.g. businesses, and school districts) will still be able to have mask, distance and sanitizing requirements should they choose to do so. Nothing has changed.

  It’ll take awhile to deprogram the enforcers….😎 There should be enough monies in 1.7 trillion payout to pay everyone off for cooperation.

    Plus he is up for re-election 2022 and has designs to be the second wheelchaired President and the third handicapped one. If fails to be re-elected in Texas, that plan suffers. Joe is already the second handicapped president.

      He has become thoroughly disliked when he started out like Kristi Noem and then became a wimp (threatened by Pence) and forced us all into masks. He has little chance anywhere in 2022 or 4.

  Does the rescission of His Masked Majesty’s former decision allow for local governmental entities to enforce muzzle ordinances? The local satraps can be worse than the sultan. Anyway, I agree it’s probably pure political posturing.

    Way back when wearing the face masks was not state mandated he alluded to the idea that businesses could mandate them and they did, with the encouragement from county officials. They still could, “no shirt, no shoes, no mask, no service. The brainwashed masses and WOKE businesses could be an issue to unmasking.

  “They” did the same thing here in Idaho then a little while later snapped right back where “they” were before with restrictions. Either way this will be interesting to observe. Let’s watch the Texas show everything’s bigger there and may be an indication of other things to come. Have fun and good luck and God Bless you all. Of course it’s political he’s not Dr. of anything is he? Nope. Probably nothing more than some butt covering distraction.

  Like it or not, the narrative is failing and “they” know it, as they try to turn around the Titanic of chicanery. And because of their narcissism they might actually believe that somehow they will not go down with the ship….
