Had a weird thing happen this morning, or maybe not so weird? Last night we had a little sleet mixed with drizzle last night, nothing special. Went out to my truck this morning thinking some of it would’ve turned to ice over the night. It hadn’t and thought cool, it was dark out got in and started it up then saw tan dust in water drop shapes all over my windshield. Got out looked and it was all over my body. It was all dried out and was a fine dust. Thought maybe it was just my truck but checked the windows on my home, same thing. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I live in a rural area surrounded by farms. Not sure whether or not to be concerned, but it is a very fine dust and seems to have come from the precipitation. Anywho….

    • When I lived in the bay area, my windshield was coated with what looked like tiny crystals. They were gritty and difficult to rub off.

      • Could been dust in the atmosphere that mixed with the moisture

          • Yeah maybe so, still wouldn’t want to breathe it in though. Silicosis and all, gives you problems like the C thing, etc.

              • That’s what face masks are for, micron particles in the air, not covid matter. May need to don one like those who live in poisoned air.

                • Ken, not sure where you live but starting at about the 30 min. mark Above Ground World News shows the different metals in air and at the 34 min mark show a dust storm in USA. This is a great site to follow showing daily weather modification.

              • Bizarre. Hopefully benign.
It would be interesting to look at under a microscope.
