Many here know I’m a reader.
I read Don Bentley’s first book, an advance copy of W/o sanction; and loved it!
Just picked up his second at the Library, The Outside Man; who is in Austin Texas/”Half of California[tech hubs] has already moved here to escape the taxes, and the other half is house hunting. Apple, Google, Facebook all have downtown offices. Amazon won’t be far behind. Even the straitlaced Army moved their Futures Command here to take advantage of mini-Silicon Valley vibe. With that much tech, you can bet this place is thick w/foreign agents looking to illicitly buy, or straight up steal it.
After a high-action first couple of James Bond movie-like intro this dialogue took on the topic we’ve been reading about at this web site. So anyone looking for an up-to-date thriller. This is one by an author who looks to be an Inside Man.

Been finding too many first books that are good; then the second comes out like a by the numbers bestseller simpleton coloring book.
I remember Stephen Colbert’s White House Dinner appearance. Then he’s a success and that hardcore WH Dinner routine’s gone w/the wind.
Second acts are getting too lamestream; as far as percentages go.
