Hope you are well and thank you for your reply. Sadly you are right and the reasons are various and many. These reasons are all subject to where you are and what the penalties are where you live. Unfortunately I currently am in Athens, Greece and the measures along with draconian enforcement, which includes fines at 300 to 600 euros per violation along with police violence is indistinguishable between children, adults and elderly, which are only second to the country of Israel.
Last week a young girl who i believe is either 16 or 18 years of age while attempting to defend a boy she witnessed being brutalized by the police, found herself beaten and arrested. While she was arrested she was sexually assaulted and tortured by a large number of the police with threats of gang rape screamed at her throughout her ordeal. After she was released, along with her lawyer later filed charges with the court and went public but yet nothing has come of it except shared posts on Facebook and Instagram which where then flagged by Greek fact checking Facebook media which then delete and ban the post when they catch it.
I neither feel proud to write this or share it here and in actuality I confess to all of Giza here that I feel worthless and ashamed, both as a father but as a fellow human being.
I keep asking myself if my choices would be different had i not had my son, had i not been afraid of acting out against this great injustice and in my fear in doing so now – thus endangering my son. Earlier last week there was a law brought to the floor of Greek parliament for any parent arrested to immediately loose custody of their child by the police, bypassing social services. Meaning the police who come and take your child and keep it in their custody. This law was brought deliberately to discourage any and all dissent with the fear of these atrocious and immoral measures. This is a nightmare not only for me here but all parents i know, and most all are willing to jump through hoops of fire when told to, never mind the vaccine jab. In their desperation for this to end, the vaccine or any jab is the magic cure they will gladly run to.
The vaccine is something that i dread even imagining because both my son and myself have developed autoimmune diseases as a consequence of injury from past vaccinations. My son diabetes an onset from the pediatric meningitis preventative vaccine and myself chronic ulcerative colitis an onset from multiple repeated tetanus vaccinations.
Sadly I do not see and choice or any reality to pushback and my only outlet is to come here at Giza where I feel solace, vent if i feel that i am about to explode or discuss, listen and try to find a solution in the calmest way possible. I wish all of us well, and all of us strength and fortitude to weather this storm which i do not see ending anytime soon.
I wish I was back home in the US, maybe not NY where i was born snd raised but rather Texas or Florida where they laugh at all these clowns with their oreo with double mask mandate stuff they dish out like desert and anti•social distancing which is Fauci’s and Mark Zuckerberg’s wet dream. I am hoping for an alien invasion over here to abduct these so called leaders along with all their vaccines in one fell swoop, and if i sound a bit sarcastic and silly, forgive me but it’s about all i have left. As a fellow Giza member Robert Barricklow eloquently wrote me recently “I’ll take all the laughs i can get” . . .
