      Before doing business in China, foreigners need to understand that there is no rule of law there. You’re quite likely to have your business stolen without recourse. The legal system is just part of the CCP’s control mechanism and, unless your “connections” are powerful enough, you won’t stand a chance – like Mr Kovrig, who is a pawn in a political game. Avoid!
