  Thanks for the reminder PiPoe. I’ll ck my settings again although I don’t believe that there’s a foolproof way of avoiding spyware on any device connected to the internet. Once you connect they got ya one way or another. Anything I say online I’ll say in person. Windows 10 has been nothing but spyware from day 1. I think that’s why it replaced 8.1 free of charge and that’s why windows 10 hasn’t been replaced yet…it serves its purpose only too well at this time.

  Yes, a good reminder to audit Win 10 settings. A lot of the defaults are things you may want to turn off.

    Right. Back in the olden days when I first noticed MS phoning home automatically – was it Win95? – I said goodbye to Microsoft.
