        Thanks for posting. I’ve read and have most of his books. His insight infused with mine in the 1970’s when I became curious about what I saw on television and what was taught me in public school.

          In the olden days I enjoyed the occasional debates between Vidal and Wm. F. Buckley. Usually antagonistic, I usually learned something and admired the intellect of both as well their respect for the use of respectful language in their exchanges. Almost non-existent in today’s crop of screaming f-b—- dropping crowd.
