this may be of interest to giza members who are attorneys, and probably not anyone else.
I was checking out the  US v Charles Lieber case.  he was essentially charged with not filling out a government form properly (failure to disclose foreign government funding).  his defense is that the omission did not result in any harm — making the case  against him look weak.  The government then added four tax offenses for failing to report income he allegedly received from Chinese.

As I scrolled down the list of documents (to June 4) I noticed that the US had incorporated a US motion from the Theranos case (actually the Holmes case) directly into the Lieber case as an exhibit – (Motion to Disclose Communications Not Protected by Defendant’s Attorney-Client Privilege) ( basically meaning the US wants to include communications with lawyers who are acting on behalf of the corporation and not the defendant.)  anyway what surprised me is that the two cases most mentioned in the blogs are linked in motions. this is really a meaningless coincidence but if you want to follow the lieber case, here is the link

    • Anyone actually seen Lieber since he was arrested? Gishilaine Maxwell?.

        • it is reported that Lieber has cancer and is sick.
I have not researched GM, but here is my feeling: she is in solitary to protect her and to limit her communications. there is a bit of a standoff because she could tell some stories which threaten power players as well as methods and operations. my guess is that she has made arrangements for information to be released if she suicided or otherwise dies in prison. she is incentivizing her enemy to treat her well. she is a threat and is probably demanded a deal.
          what do you think?
