I’ve gotta say, ‘giza’ isn’t ‘giza’ anymore. It’s all over the map and many post what I find to be just nonsense. Sorry Joseph. I know, the ‘what I find to be’ is quite a qualifier but it is what it is. I suspect I’m not alone.

    • Well, if it avoids “This website has been seized by the United States Government in accordance with….” like Press TV, Giza Forum might still push a few jewels thru!

      • Dazzle ‘em with nonsense, the real jewels are still there, protected by the costume jewelry.

        • That “it’s all over the map” is one of the things I like about it. I come here to learn and to exchange ideas. Some of what people say here goes right over my poorly-educated head. Some is nonsense to me, too. There are some Gizars whose posts I seldom, if ever, read because I know I will not understand them, or will be irritated by them. I am sure there are some (many?!) who never read my scribblings either, for similar reasons. As far as I am concerned, that’s all well and good. I think we are all united at some level in our well-mannered and open-hearted search for eternal truth, a sacred occupation, in a fast-changing and confusing exoteric “reality.” For me, that’s what makes this community of Gizars so valuable. Thank you, one and all!

          • I wonder if the ratio of members who are “well read”/those that actually read books vs. those that choose to window shop/listen to information, has some correlation? My guess is that over time, the ratio of members on here who have actually taken the time to read Joseph’s incredible work has stalled a bit. Reading has become a forgotten skillset. I believe it to indeed be just that, a skillset, where one trains their mind to focused on a task for extended periods of time. We are in an era of endless scrolling instead of focused action.

              • What’s the point of reading if everything I previously learned was false? Is the new reading material true?

                  • The suggestions on this forum I followed thru have led to very interesting books. Still digesting “invoking the beyond” by Paul & Phillip D. Collins. I would have never found this on my own.

                      • Do you recommend? I too added that to my wishlist based off the recommendation. Haven’t ordered yet as I’m somewhere around 8 books deep in my backlog on the nightstand.

                          • Same here…about half way thru The Gulag and Stalin Waiting for Hitler, then 2 of Josephs open and reading at once ;)…all heavy and meaningful.

                            • Do I recommend “invoking the beyond”? Yes, if you can afford it and like thick books that aren’t easy reads.

                          • I suppose I should have added an 😎 to my comment, oops. Reading the Forum in addition to the great books referred to here by members helps keep my mind away from atrophy.
                            Thanks everyone.

                          • IMO, people don’t read as much. It is a big problem and a big reason we are where we are today.

                          • Hi Conned agreed! It began looking like my twitter feed. There is a Giza twitter acct which Joseph doesn’t use and maybe Gizars could migrate discussion about Joseph’s works over there. At least here there is a higher level of discussion in other areas.

                              • It is Twitter though and subject to censorship for the least little thing. Maybe there could be a Forum for Books discussions on this site. Maybe reluctant readers would be more encouraged to give reading a try. Nevertheless, I often post about the good doctor’s books I am reading/read and related other books but get very few comments. Having real discussions about JPF books and all would be a real plus for me.

                                  • Oh the forum, how I miss that feature on this site. It had an impressive archive of discussions and deep dive topics. My biggest regret was not backing up some of the information that some very interesting members had compiled.

                                • I think the problem not everyone is intellectual inclined. Not everyone can be a scholar. Not everyone can be a great writer. Another problem I’ve observed is that we cannot all agree on what issues or topics we should focus on. For instance, some want to follow money and localize everything like Ms. Fitts. Others are much more spiritual and would rather focus on the culture more then the economics. Another thing too we can’t force to focus on what we think ought to be studied or the action we think should be done. We can only help others by sharing insights and setting an example in our life. In other words, focus on taking action locally. Don’t get too caught up in disagreements you have with other members. In short, we can take action and share your sources and ideas. But, you cannot force others to take a specific ourse of action or take a specific viewpoint on an issue.
