The NSW government has declared retail non essential except for these:
The retail exceptions include:
Supermarkets
Stores selling medical supplies
Pharmacies
Petrol stations
Car hire
Banks and financial institutions
Hardware stores and nurseries
Agricultural supply stores
Pet supply stores
Post offices and news agents
Office suppliesThis is really getting shocking here these restrictions are in for two weeks

It’s pretty shocking to see from afar too (though it’s not as if I didn’t expect it). Best of luck navigating it all.

Victoria is looking to extend the lockdown here too. Apparently every time there’s an extension there WILL be a protest

At least there are protests! Sometimes the only effective form of protest is mass noncompliance.

“Only” for “two weeks” is telling.

It’s very alarming – there was rumours that stage 5 lockdown is coming with the army on the street and door to door innoculations (admin by the army)
