    Apropos to nothing on this site, but spirit urges me to post…

    Leaving my local grocery this morning, in SLC, Utah, noting the police had blocked off the street motorcade-style, to allow about a dozen Texas Longhorn cattle, all with 7-8 feet horns, walking purposely, accompanied by attendant hoses & cowboys, and followed by a chuck wagon. Not a sound from anyone or anything, except the sound of hooves on the pavement. We human critters seemed awed, respectful, as eye contact was made with cattle and horses as they walked.

    Probably here for festivities on the 24th related to Utah’s Statehood celebration and parade.

    The energy I felt, and exchanged with cattle, horses – and people, was clearly experienced, with all around invigorating. I was momentarily mesmerized. The sensation continues. I was, and am humbled.

    A jolt to the spirit, somehow. Be here, NOW.

        I love that stuff. More than once, driving into the Uintas, I was forced to wade my car through a herd of cattle with ranchers on horseback ! I always smile and tip my cap to them.
