In the last few months, robots have learned some pretty cool new skills, including performing a sweet coordinated dance routine and making pizzas from start to finish. Now there’s another accomplishment to add to the list: a bipedal robot named Cassie just ran a 5K.

    • Lots of hype and marketing deceive and deception around A:I and
so called machine learning, at the end of the day it’s till old bog
standard logic running human implemented algorithms.
The machine i,e the CPU dont learn anything by it self
rather algorithm is “adjusting” it self and or its parameter set,
so dont get fooled by the upper level glossy surface language
      of deceit and deception.

Always keep in mind what SunTzu 3500 years ago said.

        • Exercise in inefficiency, IMHO. Package delivery? Sheesh. How about a canine powered wagon?

BTW, What did SunTzu say 3500 years ago? (Time for a nap?)

            • ? “ridiculing” SunTzu dont comes across as relevant to the subject discussed, read the book about Sun Tzu and become more informed.

                • It was a sincere question. No ridicule intended. Taking a nap is a natural, respectable endeavor, especially when seeking inspiration. Natural to human activity. No one knows all about everything. Since pearls of 3,500 year old wisdom were referenced, it seemed logical to assume one would be willing to share. To the original point of creating a walking robot to deliver packages, it seems highly inefficient, at best. Just because something can be done doesn’t mean it should. Your vitriol is unwarranted. Have a nicer day.
