Maybe someone can help me, I seem to be having a hard time knowing what is, or is not allowable to be posted in this forum, so as to avoid it being removed, by whomever or whatever. I’d just like to know what is acceptable and what’s not. Perhaps every morning the (censor/censors) could post a “toolkit” of prescribed acceptable narratives on a prescribed “officially sanctioned” set of topics. Of course this would be quite fluid as these two points also seem to be in flux if not subject to outright reversals.

While we’re at it, can we please have an official explanation of WHO or WHAT is responsible for deleting our posts? If you’re human, please defend your actions, if you’re not, just rattle your hardware.

    That is all.

    • A glitch in WordPress software or its add-ons, almost certainly. (Possibly as a result of a recent update?) All the underlying coding can be a severely tangled mess to sort out, sometimes making it next to impossible to figure out where the glitch is.

        • Is this your personal guess? or am I to take this as some sort of an “official” explanation. Being that I am quite familiar with Word Press, and it’s plug ins, I find that if indeed this is merely a glitch, that it’s awfully selective about when and what and to whom it seems to invoke itself. I’m just trying to categorize your response and determine if it’s you’re best guess or if it’s a response being made for or by the owners of the website, thanks!

            • … Don’t worry BlakeC. I’m sure that any explanation (even that given in the “Posting Issues”) is the result of much “informed speculation”.
Is the following paragraph (found under the heading – Why is My Post Comment not Displayed?) still true? – Just Curious …

“WAS IT MARKED SPAM: SPAM protection is automated and uses complex algorithms to operate. It necessarily lacks perfect accuracy. For any number of reasons, comments are sometimes flagged by the system for approval by Dr. Farrell. If your comment “disappears”, it was flagged and is waiting for his approval. Flagging legitimate comments is rare, but does sometimes happen. Technical support has no information to provide on why this occurs with any individual comment. Assuming the comment meets the terms of service criteria, it should be approved the next time Dr. Farrell logs in to look at the comment queue. Be patient and, if your comment doesn’t appear in a few days, feel free to ask Dr. Farrell about it.”

              • Semi-informed best guess, and speaking for myself only, not on behalf of the site.

            • I honestly do not know.

              • The hard truths are unacceptable.
The media, of course, wouldn’t know how to tell the complete and accurate truth if their ratings actually depended upon it.
[The real truth is that I was just looking for an excuse to write that second sentence]

                • It’s now far far better then how it used to be 3-4-5-6-7 years back!
