Alas, I don’t believe in AI anymore. Maybe I’m not creative enough to believe that we could create “artificial intelligence”. Mea culpa.
I however do believe in the great excel database in the sky or lets say a computer based dominion operating system but both require people to be manipulated at the bottom and people to control at the top. What the AI meme does do is it makes people at the bottom of this equation think the decisions being reached are unbiased, not matter how cruel and to not know how the decisions that affect their lives are made, by whom and replaced the infallibility of the church or government. It also doesn’t remove my culpibility if the great database in the sky tells me to do something terrible because it deems it to be done.
