… everyone take a deeeeeepp breath, Ok, now hold it, hold it, hol … no really stop, you’ll hurt yourself … you gotta love this though … if you follow the email trail in the article … Logic again turns out to be a B_tc_.
Also, does anyone know for certain whether or not the Jim Garrison Files are part of this group of Docs? My recommendation on this … prepare yourself for yet another “October Surprise”.

    • Perhaps the NARA doesn’t possess all the records yet, and knows it. Just a thought.

      • My thought: Often, what is lacking in talent can effectively be compensated for with volume.

Kind of like styrofoam. An appearance of substance, without any.

Like most of officialdom. All the i’s are dotted, the t’s crossed, proper headings, stamps, scrolls, references, citations, seals, but sans substance – I.e., crickets. Nada. But in accordance with the lawfully established procedures, paychecks issued, appearances…

        • Thanks for the link.

          • I’m always a little amused when I see individual citizens (outside a lawsuit or major lobbying group) try to invoke the law in the face of intransigent national bureaucracies. What are they hoping to achieve? To get a few pages to slip past the censors? To demonstrate — for the umpteenth time — governmental hypocrisy, lawlessness, and secrecy?

              • Perhaps a paper trail for a further objective. Proverb: Perseverance furthers. Additionally : Shame / educate the responder.

                  • Paper trail for a future objective makes sense. Though I don’t believe any amount of lawsuits, shaming, or education is going to result in any incriminating docs being released — assuming they haven’t long since been shredded.

                      • … my (sad) thought as well FiatLux ,,, I think those documents “disappeared” (i.e. suffered the same fate as the Roswell dailies, MK Ultra records, the few microfiche containing crucial JFK evidence that were destroyed as a”space saving measure”) long, long ago.

                        • It may only be a pressure release “feel good” moment. If so, of some benefit. Just a thought. Thanks for your input.

                      • Yes, King George of England expressed the same amusement.

                          • I submit there’s a major difference between saying, “You didn’t obey the law; you really should” (the case in this example) and saying, “We’re going to stop obeying you and set up an independent country” (King George’s time).

                          • Yes, who was that common peasant Ghandi thinking he could challenge the British Empire!

                              • “Do you know how much it costs every day to keep you in poverty?” – Sarojini Naidu speaking to Ghandi.
Mother Teresa had a similar problem stemming from a rather strange worldview of her’s that held suffering as a virtue. See Christopher Hitchen’s Mother Teresa: Hell’s Angel and his The Missionary Position, and also Aroup Chatterjee’s (an actual doctor) critique of Mother Teresa.
I, as much as anyone, would like the world to be different, I would love the world not to be a disappointing place. But things are what they are and the world really is, for the most part, an incredibly disappointing place.
