            Or, lining for containers of, say, uranium. Or, raw material for military-grade hardening of one’s expensive and probably by now quite esoteric hardware.

            … actual gold bars? … amazing how much “real” gold is “floating” (considering the density of gold — is 19.3 g/cm3, almost identical to that of tungsten at 19.25 g/cm3 — tungsten has been used in the counterfeiting of gold bars) around these days. Maybe they ended up with 50 million in tungsten bars. One can only hope.
