Australia has gone to far now.
Killing rescue dogs because of COVID?
    Is this true?

In the Netherlands a member in parlement (Caroline van der Plas) wanted speaking time. She asked questions about Australia and the shooting of dogs and the insane rules being forced on people.
Not that it will matter much but i am glad at least one outside of Australia is standing up in the political arena. I hope more will follow.

    • Today it’s dogs — which is bad enough. And tomorrow? The evil psychos in charge of “democratic” countries all over the world are trying to see just how far they can push before there is outright revolt. The answer seems to be: very far. As pessimistic as I can be, even I have been surprised.

        • It looks like there will be a major trucking strike in Australia from Tuesday 24th. Shouldn’t be hard to notice it, they are all over the socials organising it and from the look of things, its gonna bring the country to a dead stop. Place your bets now on how long a police state can last with no food, no highway access in or out of major population centres and a lot of angry people wondering who’s to blame.

            • More power to them! That’s exactly the kind of thing that might get the would-be tyrants to pay attention.

          • They’re normalizing horrible acts…either they really want things to fall apart or they want people to get used to wanton killing…

            • One of the really horrible things about this story (for those of us who help with animal rescue) was that not only were the dogs just shot rather than properly euthanized, but they were shot by shelter KNOWING the no-kill shelter people were on their way to collect them. Shooting domestic animals is not considered a proper form of euthanasia, especially for small ones like cats and dogs. The excuse of “COVID” strikes me as someone is covering for an employee or local pound operator who is a saddist.
