      Just a little background, up to not so long ago Vigano was said in press reports to be “near” (i.e. a member of) Opus Dei, the reactionary organisation that has been slogging it out with the Jesuits over the last 20 years of Vatican infighting.

            Hmm, this may sound quite unfair to Bishop Vigano, but after reading this piece and his other writings something is off about this guy. I don’t write this lightly as a traditional RC who agrees with a lot of his premises but…. I can’t really pinpoint it, but something does not add up. Seems he doesn’t have a lot of following either from faithful or clergy. Lots of heavy duty accusations on his part regarding hierarchy and yet he is still alive( may he live 100 years and more in good health ). Whose helping him with his safe house-CIA ?
