What you guys think about Tetanus shot? I have 10 months old daughter and we are planning to move in countryside. There is dirt dirt play and a dirt play. What you people in here think about it? I´d like to know.

    • First and most important: infants under 3 years old do not have a fully formed immune system and cannot cope with the challenge a vaccine poses. In my opinion NO child under 3 should get vaccinated for anything. As far as I know, tetanus vaccine has the same problems as all the others: heavy metals, a huge number of contaminants etc. I think there’s actually a documentary by a man who, as an adult, had a tetanus vaccination and became very, very ill as a result. It is called Trace Amounts. The one thing you can do is read the insert that comes with all vaccines and see if there is thimerosol (mercury) etc. Reading the insert is usually enough to make most parents balk. Personally? I would never, ever vaccinate my child if I had one – at least not until vaccines are cleaned up and proven safe and effective. I have done years of research on vaccines due to my own health situation and I believe they played a role in what I’m dealing with now, despite the fact that I’ve have relatively very few. Another person to check in with on the internet is Dr. Judy Mikovits who co-wrote a book, Plague, which details her experience as a research scientist who ran into the brick wall of the CDC etc. That website is plaguethebook.com. There are some very good videos of interviews with her.

      • Thanks! We will keep our daughter (10 months) clean. I was just thinking Tetanus shot, because soon she starts playing outside and play with dirt etc.

        • Playing in the dirt doesn’t make one susceptible to tetanus. Getting a puncture wound, like walking barefoot and stepping on a nail is how you are exposed to tetanus. The type of soil is also relevant. Areas rich in manure, for example, are much more likely to include the bacteria. If your daughter suffers a puncture wound while playing outside in the dirt, then you might consider a tetanus shot but until that time, you don’t need to over expose her to unnecessary vaccines. JMO… from a kid who grew up on a farm playing in the dirt around the horse barn.

      • I vaccinated my son just before he started kindergarten. He was 5 and then I had him ‘catch up’ with his vaccines bit by bit. He wasn’t in a childcare centre or with other children, but was at home with me until he went to school.

    • I thnk that you should move to the country, take your daughter and jsut make sure she doesnt play with any rusty knives or old nails.. you know basic 10 month old stuff. Let your daughter get ill. It helps her body learn how to fight off disease.
And read everything before putting it inside your baby girl.
