Happy Birthday J.S. Bach! [1685] … I wonder what Joseph is doing today in honor 😉 Our local classical music station is filling the airwaves with the best of Bach. They stream online too if you’d like to listen in at kmfa.org … Playing now is ‘Keyboard Concerto No. 6 in F Major, BWV 1057’.

Sirius XM played Bach all [Birth]day as well, including ‘Art of the Fugue’ up to the very point at which it became his final and unfinished work.
I am listening to Sebastian Bach, with some bittersweet melancholia, because we’re in danger of losing it all, and fully expect he will come under fire shortly from the political correctness crowd…
