For some reason I cannot reply in any fashion to FOREIGN MINISTER SERGEI LAVROV: WESTPHALIA, SOFT POWER, AND NEW … After each post after the Dr. Farrell’s commentary I read that I must Log In to Reply. But I am logged in. I have tried all I can imagine to do. In extreme brevity, I would offer that in the present moment Sergei Lavrov is something of a St. Benedict preserving the culture, the culture memory, and the history that has been slowly and consistently sucked out of the souls and minds of the West.

    • Yes, I’m all in agreement with you and in addition to your comment, I would go as far to say that the hope of the world lies with Russia as it is today, with its intention to remain true to its cultural and orthodox roots, learning from the mistakes of its past, and looking forward to a future that is to the benefit of all mankind. When Mr Putin said to Mr Netenayu,
“Don’t judge Iran by 5th century BC, we live in a different world” (https://www.rt.com/news/380061-putin-netanyahu-iran-israel-syria/), he clearly showed that statesmanship, leadership and compassion can work together. This, what we see emerging from Russia, is something rather splendid, and in direct contrast to the lowbrow aggression that the west has been continually putting forth.
