I know Bach is hard to listen to, but it just demands a reckless modicum of disbelief. Zelenka, on the other hand, just demands a belief in the saints and the magical power of weird music….

Yiannis, I’m on a mission of sorts to re-corporalize the music of the Baroque. What are you doing ? I am not giving attention to the powers That Should Not Be: I refuse and refute their craving for passion and outrage. I want complexity, not complication.
