That was interesting, but really it’s just the same old story of the ikonothetes vs. the ikonoclasts. Both become semantic contagions when there is no adaptive process to ameliorate the “distress” involved in the old game of competence vs. deviance. If you’re seen as more deviant then society as a whole views you as less competent. That people…[Read more]

the last time that happened to me was Thursday night; my co-worker and I were heading downstairs at work to collect a pizza that was being delivered, I was just handing over 50 bucks to him and ‘Bzzzt!!” the psychotronic resonance of my legal tender was warning us that it was going to be a dud pizza….c’est la guerre -

I do watch them, so I am interested. But I am not generally impressed.

Sorry, but this is stupid. An AI “genius” who talks to supercomputers all day believes that Fitbit GPS data can’t be hacked or modified, and who can’t help his interlocutor remove a Skype pop-up ?

Apparently the vid-book lizard expose is still a going concern; I saw a short video from his YouTube channel yesterday where he said so. Also he’s taken up remote-viewing again and is concerned about Barbados….https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG09RGw0mYA

I’m not saying that Quinn Michaels is a liar, but the phrase “obscurum per obscurius” comes readily to mind. At best I think he’s a techno-mystagogue.

I admit to having an uneasy feeling about Quinn Michaels; when he says that he has researched things he always provides a caveat; he says he’ll have to check, things are really complex, there are unknowns….jargon seems paramount in his “explanations”. I may be wrong but I think we can be assured that whatever appears on sites like GDS will make…[Read more]

Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don’t know we don’t know. And if one l…[Read more]

Researchers found that when they changed the direction of the rapidly fluctuating acoustic vortices that make up this structure, they could control the rate of rotation and stabilise the tractor beam.

If by “pushback” Anders you means some reasoned contrary argument then it may help if you did submit a reasoned argument in the first place rather than just making assertions. I have been known to change my mind when presented with cogent persuasion many times in my life but I don’t do it on a whim. That’s why I’m a member; because I’m not gullible.
