Dark Journalist featured on HBO’s Vice, now I’m not a big fan of Vice but this 5 minute piece is as much about Daniel as it is about JFK…. this is awesome. Big changes are afoot guys.

Perhaps Joe the organist would also like to hear The Magnificat from Buxtehude (German Baroque Organist)

Telemann, often overlooked for someone so prolific…

Originally wanted to post Alessandro Scarlatti’s “Messa di Santa Cecilia,” for Saint Cecilia’s Day (today) but couldn’t find a version I cared for that was posted completely in one link.
“Papa” (Alessandro) Scarlatti is egregiously overlooked.-
I totally agree. Scarlatti, Graupner, Brescianello, Kirnberger, Homilius, Kuhnau et al, it’s a long, long list.

At 03.50hrs, I have not long finished work, it’s a warm, humid, stormy night in Adelaide; lightening and a weird spagyric frisson in the night air. I have a glass of wine and a cigar…
Hail! Bright Cecilia, hail to thee

Hi folks, for once this is Al talking. Just wanna jump in and thank you for the support & kudos.
I think our recent Cosmic War chat went well. I was originally somewhat doubtful to if it could match the Nazi shows etc, because it’s an old topic that has been exhausted with Jos, but somehow I think we made it work, with new angles that should…[Read more]

Hooray Freefall . . . With that $5, you can also get parts 2 and 3 that have been posted . . . Currently I think Al is the best interviewer of Joseph and their productions are so well done (is it BlueGreen who does the technical?) They are so info heavy that I have to listen to them many times.

A $5.00 donation .. Best 5 bucks I have spent for a long time ..
Jump in folks & help the guys at FB for their FANTASTIC interviews ..
They deserve some form of payment for the quality of their interviews .. and it is Christmas time after all ..
Go for it ….-
Absolutely agree! I have bookmarked them and as soon as I’ve finished listening to the last VidChat I’m heading there. I get this odd feeling that things have sped up lately, and there’s so much more data out there now, and it’s thrilling!

The ‘quickening’ is palpable ..
As strange as this may sound .. it’s great time to be alive ..

So blame it on “A.I.” and “let the weapons make the decisions”? It’s the programming that counts… with moral responsibility falling on the programmers and operators of these “wonderful” devices.
-
very true. Seems to be another meme in the making. Why I wonder, could the programmers and inventors one day be some sort of fall-guy? perhaps in the future when we all return to pre-industrial age, there will be a different class of people to with-hunt.
-
Interesting consideration… go after the programmers and not the people who hired them…

For those who inquired in vidchat yesterday about the virtual pipe organ. We just heard from the builders that the instrument is number two in their scheduled queue of delivery trips after an instrument to be delivered to a cathedral in South America. What this means in terms of timing, I do not know.
-
Thank you for the update . . . at least you’ve finally heard from them, and you know your place line. That would sure be a wonderful birthday present 😉 So enjoyed the latest vidchat. Gizar socializing is great fun and the Q&A always thoughtfully stimulating . . .

Forum Borealis has posted part 1 of a 3 part series with Joseph on the Cosmic War……….go get it folks.
-
Wow! Just Wow! Al is such a thoughtful interviewer, and knowledgable enough to explore broad and deep historical and philosophical territory with Joseph. Thanks Ken for urging Al to go back to the beginning . . . the Cosmic War origins are most fascinating to me. I’m looking forward to the next installments!
-
M .. is there a link for this ?? ..
-
-
I couldn’t find a link – do you have one?
-
No there is no link. To access Forum Borealis you have to go and make a small donation, any amount.
Then they will send you an email saying that you are now a sponser. After that go back and “log in”, and then you will be able to get all of the interviews for download, hope this helps.-
perfect thank you DownunderET 🙂

In Vivaldi’s music there is a special vein of that melancholy that you can still feel today, when walking along the damp, deserted back lanes of Venice. By the composer’s time, the city had already lost its empire and was living on borrowed time. Perhaps in a few generations, such wonderful music will again be produced in the former “American Empire”…..
-
Their are moments in the ‘Stabat Mater’ which really evoke loss and grief in a particularly visceral way. Rene Jacobs made a gem of such a recording quite a few years ago which demonstrates Vivaldi’s art of the lament.

No one in America is capable of it… and I doubt it will happen…

Nostalgia
Nostalgia is a sentimentality for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.[1] The word nostalgia is learned formation of a Greek compound, consisting of νόστος (nóstos), meaning “homecoming”, a Homeric word, and ἄλγος (álgos), meaning “pain” or “ache”, and was coined by a 17th-century medical stude…[Read more]

Greetings Everyone,
This may sound mundane to some of you but recently I was listening to an old podcast from the Byteshow where Joseph talks about his book “Grid of the Gods”.

Hi All,
Here is another video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y_fV7092tE. More of the same stuff but the author of the video also uses other sources like NASA to compare pictures of the Orion Nebula with the one he selected to compare the fractal geometric similarities. Strange stuff!-
Guys, this is even a better vid link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULGnc9bO4BU) because the author Danny Wilten actually brings in the more dumb down approach to understanding the math and the geometric aspects to this connection. Enjoy 🙂
-
Dave .. as soon as I read your first post .. I thought this guy should look at the work of Danny Wilten .. His stuff is fascinating ..
My guess is that there is some kind of connection ..
Orion and Sirius seem to play a huge role here on Earth ..
Cheers from Australia and welcome to the Giza site .. Best place on the planet ..
