Received letter from Treasury Department dated March 12, 2021 stating second payment of $600 was issued by Direct Deposit. ? I thought $1400. Did they use same letter from the $600 exercise?

Just returned from grocery shopping at my local HEB grocery store here in south Texas, three miles from the border. Thought I’d go late in evening (open til 1 am) with fewer shoppers since I don’t wear a face diaper. Geez place was still crowded and everyone was wearing a mask. even children.

A friend of mine “retired” from teaching gifted and talented music students in September because she was required to go and use a classroom. School officials refused her request to continue teaching from home. Her concern was over covid.-
I’m pretty sure that’s the trend among teachers all over the country… I guess concern for the kids isn’t first priority. And yet it’s unlikely in the extreme that kids will suffer any serious effects from, or pass on, covid.
