Good point… The implication of the U.N. bluster is that ideologies of racial superiority only ever happen among white people. I wonder if an examination of the Han Chinese in the People’s Republic (as just one example) would reveal any pretensions of racial or ethnic superiority.

Yes reading Atlas Shrugged is not a pleasure to read and requires a commitment of time to process the messages. Experiencing the totalitarian system in her homeland and witnessing the same slowly happening here during her lifetime must have been horrific. -

i really couldn’t stand Atlas Shrugged. I topped out at the umpteenth “Who is John Galt” and just put the book down and never looked back. As an avid reader the number of books I’ve put down mostly unfinished in my lifetime out of many thousands is 3 and that is one of them. Because of deregulation of power companies, keep in mind the actual power generating facilities are separate from the owners of the power grid distribution network.
