If “they” were going to brick the US, having the Navy out of commission would be a viable strategy to achieve one’s “isolate the west” objective. The other thing is they maybe setting up the Atlantic fleet like the Pacific 7th fleet, recall the News and Views episode a few weeks back where the Pacific fleet was setting up that new electronic warfare stuff.

Doc, if you ever travel this way to Minnesota, if didn’t know, swing into Duluth, we have a Train museum complete with a “Big Boy Engine”, Glensheen mansion on the North side of Duluth is ran by the University of Minnesota, and it has a large behind the glass library of titles from the 1920s, and older, there maybe book titles there of interest.…[Read more]

They keep talking about 50 – 70 mph winds; pure anecdote but I can tell you there is only a mellow breeze down here in the flats of Napa.
