I think Rand Paul is right about this issue. Tarrifs only make consumers life more difficult.
Agreed. At the very best they can only have short term transitional benefits (and those not without their own unintended costs and consequences). But in the long term they are no kind of real solution.
Remember – Joseph was blogging about the ‘invisible finincial war between USA and Germany.. It is being said.. that Trump has harpooned the WTO with his steel/aluminium tarifs… (could it really be THAT easy????)
