If you want things not to change, you might be less naturally inclined toward activism; that would make sense. I don’t get how people could be unaware of a need to do something when they see things changing in a way they don’t like, assuming they want to stop the change.

Also, the passage of various bills authorizing experimentation on the public without notice or consent, thereby making it legal to do what otherwise was or would be illegal. I see the real motive behind some of these “woke” decisions, being a sleight of hand where these artifacts may indeed find themselves shuffled off to a private collection.
