Tidbit. Italy too may have “missing money”. As the government moves to increase transparency in government Former Finance Minister Padoan has called for State Secrecy status on 30 billion euros in “derivatives losses” under his tenure. Most derivatives are so complex that they are the ideal way to make funds disappear. Let’s see where this goes.

Merkel’s plane to Argentina was grounded and whatever happened they aren’t telling the whole story. They say: a) the plane lost its communications 1 hour into the flight (over Holland) and b) this loss continued for an hour.
