This media hype about the alleged murder of a certain Saudi journalist is pathetic. About 99.9% of the public had never heard of him. And if he did not belong to the billionaire Kashoggi family, no one would give a hoot. Interestingly the family has Turkish roots so something may be afoot related to the historical Ottoman presence in the Arabian peninsula.

It isn’t like they couldn’t have flown them out despite the maintenance or other excuse. Puzzling unless you think it is possible that they were left there to be destroyed, in need of replacement. Government insured? Is there such a thing as government insurance?
