CONTINUING Dr. Farrell’s speculations on the Catalan issue. Apparently, affluent Catalonia is the part of Spain with the highest rate of substance addiction. After the suggestion in a recent news and views, passed on by a Giza member, that the dispute over drug trafficking is one of the REAL reasons behind the sudden escalation of the conflict there. This brings to mind C.A.Fitts analysis of how drugs have been used to take over the US financially, county by county, together with mortgage fraud. This pattern is probably applicable elsewhere. What comes to mind is the huge tourist and construction boom in post-Franco Spain. The Spanish building sector has for some time been weak, meaning that the pie is smaller: the ferocity of the present struggle could indicate that there are certain parties worried about getting their slice…

    • On the other hand, King Felipe hasn’t come out of this too badly. Is it too much of stretch to assume that the Spanish monarchists are getting a bit of skin in the game now for some serious action at a later date ?

    • Tools of destruction: drugs, housing price inflation and collapse, popular uprisings,… check all three for Spain…. next up Islamic jihadists & terror attacks (or perhaps these are continuous to “soften” things up)
Throw in oil / gas pipelines, arms trade, hedge funds and you’ve got a “winning” combination.

    • The Catalone guy signing a declaration of independance.. then suspending it.. HARR HARR HAAR! Looks like Rhenus negative blood doesnt make you smarter after all.. What an idiot.. Did he think he was playing poker and that Spain was pooping its pants and will be willing to negotiate?? Did the Spaniards negotiate with the Aztecs for their gold?? Does Guernica mean anything to you Catalonia?? I ask.. because.. its all good and honorable of your part to declare independace.. I’d just ask you to check history and see what happened in pretty much every single country that declared independance, right after the signed the treaty.. I’ll give you a hint.. it starts with civil and ends in war.
Only.. and this is the funny thing.. Catalonia doesnt have an army. So.. what happens to civilian populations when armies roll over them?? Well it usually starts with rape (because… men.. soldiers.. helpless women and no one around to report it…) then there’s some serious raping going on.. then the men and children (dont want those kids coming back for revenge do ya) get lined up.. and shot in front of the women survivors.. (the ones who survived the hours of abuse) just to shock them even more before sending them back to the rape camps. Anyone who survives this horror and massacre (usually around 5-10 percent of the original population.. depends if they being slaughtered by handguns or machetes.. more people can escape if they use machetes, its takes more time..) ends up as refugee fodder.. where they’re children will usually be picked up by Red Cross, UN, NATO.. politiciens.. (you get the idea.. Kissinger industralised the process in Chile…) Right where was I…. Yes. Economy and production… All the middle class needs to be desposed and their belongings captured by the military (see jewish ghettos in nazi germany..) and any industrial production sites annexed as well. Then all the syndicalists can be lined up and shot for subordination or not being nationalistic enough.. and replaced by mouthpieces.. what have I missed..?? Ah the police chiefs needs to be arrested to enusre that the only real armed force in catalonia remains loyal to Spain.. …
Am I ready to go work in a Ro**echild bank or what?
