I’ve got a parent employed by ORNL. When I first heard Dr. Farrell mention this theme in connection to ORNL’s research my alarm bells went off. I remember multiple times as a little girl my parent demonstrating they could wiggle their ears, and seeing if us kids could. I occasionally still wonder if this was purely coincidental. I still can’t wiggle my ears.
