I like this idea. How about just “controlled media” because in some parts of the world it is not controlled by corporations but other players?

Based upon your comment, Cara, I’ll probably wind up using the terms “directed media,” “controlled media” and “corporate controlled media,” depending upon the actors involved. These are ‘players’ for whom a scorecard is possible.

I’ve been thinking about it since I saw this yesterday. I like the idea of “free media” for several reasons: it’s easy and catchy, it hearkens to the First Amendment and it’s very clear and distinct from “corporate media” etc.

How interesting if true….. apparently the Simpsons show predicted Trump’s election win in a show airing in year 2000:

Read elsewhere that this has been debunked and this Simpsons was made in 2015. I guess it’s still somewhat prescient/predictive programming

I saw this the other day, it’s great. The crazy part is that it started out as a joke, but then it sort of stopped being a joke once all the above was discovered. How’s this for irony? 9/11 was one of the worst days in American History, 11/9 has the potential to be one of the best. It’s truly insane, but now the real work begins.
