It is just me or did that look like there was a bright and tiny aerial explosion right above that flat square building and that is where the explosion originates?
It looked more like there was some kind of either a fire or earlier explosion in what must have been an arsenal – not sure what kind (I am no expert but it sure looks like a “nuke” was in there and went off) but when it blew it took out the whole section of Beirut. Some that have looked at the speed of the explosion have said it to be ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil). I really hope this was not a government decision of ‘well, we can’t do anything with this now so we’ll keep this explosive material in this warehouse just in case we get in a war again and need more IEDs’.
