Linda – Sometimes I feel overwhelmed myself by all the madness in today’s world. I hope interacting with others here is helpful for you, even if only a little bit. There’s going to be a lot of “marketing” of the injections and social pressure, but I think Dana is right–the least stressful and most effective thing is to simply ignore it. I…[Read more]

    • That downvote was probably a mistake (I did that once and had to make an apology in the comments), because your words are needed comfort at an insanely irrational time of our existence. I’m always happy to see your comments FiatLux.

        • The downvote was not a mistake. It comes courtesy of “tomas,” who seems to be addicted to hitting the dislike button whenever he comes across a comment of mine. I usually overlook it, but in this case it’s really unwelcome. Perhaps, on reflection, he’ll see fit to remove it.

            • Good to know, actually. Since you seem to have uncommon good sense in my experience, I’ll know not to be concerned about “tomas”.

          • Thank you Fiat-Lux, I have been touched by the powerful, sweet, encouraging comments I received and yes, it actually did help. I appreciate your indulgence kind suggestions, and your wider vision of the current situation. It’s not often I find myself so myopic, but as you say, a state of overwhelm-ment hits us all now and again, especially…

          • Dear Fiat-Lux, I posted a response to your comments to my post about 20 minutes ago, but for some reason it isn’t showing up, so hopefully this one will and won’t be a duplicate. What I said was that I was very touched and appreciative of the powerful, encouraging, supportive and kind responses I received and yes, the interacting with others…

It seems psychopaths breed psychopaths, literally and figuratively.

Well, that’s one of the benefits of a collapsing dollar!

“We don’t call them Newton’s laws anymore,” an upperclassman at [Fieldston, an elite prep school for future Ivy Leaguers] informs me. “We call them the three fundamental laws of physics. They say we need to ‘decenter whiteness,’ and we need to acknowledge that there’s more than just Newton in physics.”

                • All “Universities” attached to unaccountable Endowments and their pay to play system administrators-in-training are about to face a reality of unthinkable force. Babylon is falling. Even double-mask wearing, lockdown-conforming morons will have to face it. God bless.

                  • It seems that the psychopaths want to create more psychopaths.
Perhaps in time, these families will decide that the future these ‘educational’ institutions are offering their children is a future they can do without.

                    • In the rapid decline of the dollar, the endowments system will quickly unravel, with priority going away from scientism and back to science. Quackademics will have to find real jobs.

                        • Makes perfect sense… given that critical theory isn’t supposed to make sense. Logic and rational thinking are merely vectors of oppression, to be expunged from the academic canon.

Commercial flights are down, but I’m pretty sure cargo flights are up–think online orders, Amazon, FedEx, and so on. I think any of them can be spraying.

Yep… seems like being anti-narrative when you’re head of a country can be bad for your health. I always thought there was something fishy about BoJo–the only leader of a major country who was for herd immunity and anti-lockdown–getting “covid,” ending up in the hospital, and changing his tune.

                            • What kind of spines do these new leaders have? Apparently enough spine to send others to their death for country; while selling out their own countries, because their courage is nothing but hot air.

I knew journalism was dead in the mainstream media. This article is evidence that it’s dead and not coming back anytime soon.

                                • Evidence that objectivity and critical thinking have been eradicated from much of society.

                                    • With truth being relative, “anything goes.” Squash the intellectual mind and the idea of beauty, replace with empirical senses, and we get what we see and experience now.

I always had the impression some of the protests back then were a response to real things happening in the real world that had very concrete consequences for tens of thousands of people, like the Vietnam War and segregation. What gets me is today’s crop of kids are protesting figments of their imagination, like invisible “systemic” this and…[Read more]

I keep thinking it can’t get any weirder, and I’m always wrong! What is it with so many Commonwealth countries going neo-fascist and cozying up to China? I guess Mr. Global wants to use China as its police dog, to tame those in the West who still agitate for accountable government and civil liberties.

My mind is recalling the opening ceremonies at the Military Olympics held in Wuhan back in Oct. of 2019 – Chinese military performance with all of them wearing blue UN helmets.
