“Forum” have always been “this and that” if thats what
you call troll type? Perhaps you could be more specific
about what you find to be noise in a world filled with
paranoid deliriums?

This is not a “forum” but more of a “self sticky post it note”
sort of space as Joseph have chosen this type of member
space news messaging rater then a proper forum format
software. Be aware that your post can also be interpreted
by others to be a form of trolling. Its called pretended
concerned a tactic often found in YT channels chats and
comments sections.

Yes, FiatLux, I have noticed it too and I think your observations of it being a bit more subtle are spot on. It’s military 101 – blend in – appear to be like everybody else and then gradually do your work from the inside. It would seem necessary these days because the outward troll options aren’t working well these days.

I think you might be a little delirious, but I suspect there is a lot of that going around lately. My observation is that there are a lot of new members and there is a little bit of excitable behaviour being exhibited, and there are a lot of posts now that are diluting, perhaps modifying “the conversation.” The chat about kairos a couple months back springs to mind.
There aren’t any particular rules about posting other than Dr. Farrell made a request a few weeks ago asking for some restraint and that people not multi-post so that important information is not lost, but that is way back in the dusty past of hundred hours or years or so ago. Might be a case for a pinned post there, in that case. No doubt there is thought going into whether Daniel and Dr Farrell really want to manage a forum, or whether we will just see how the forum works itself out over time.
Personally, I would hate for this feed to become just another bookfacepage wall, and it is starting to show signs of it. I suspect that if folks took the time to listen and read more, understood that this place is filled with folks who already rather “know what is up”, are well aware of our current circumstances, and are looking at the bigger picture, we might reach an equilibrium.

I appreciate everyone’s feedback, as I am aware of my own ability to be less than objective, like anyone else, and I think it can sometimes be hard to know who’s commenting in good faith and who isn’t on any open online platform.
