Thank you, R. L. S., for posting this. My cousin and I were having a conversation just last night along similar lines. It’s something that I have been wrestling with for about the past year because I’m not convinced that everything, right down to a friggin’ glass of water, is a conspiracy. I have been drawn into this “everything is a…[Read more]-

It’s interesting that you are suggesting to link the word “method” to “interpretation”. Though a “method” could seemingly be analogue or digital, I largely think of it as something digital – a sequence of steps that can be flowcharted, if you will, with “decision diamonds” with “Yes” or “No” as the outputs in deciding what to do next. An…[Read more] -

So just to be clear here, you’re looking for the nature of the feeling and not the feeling itself? Would not the two be intertwined, though? Seemingly, one can’t fully explore the nature of the feeling without exploring the feeling first.-
Good question Todd! Certainly they are engaged with one another, the key then for the individual falls to the method by which such things are interpreted.

… wouldn’t one need to have a method for interpreting one’s “feeling of what’s happening?” and if so what might that look like? … and where might one go to seek out those who have proposed methods for doing so?

Funny, I just sent a rant to someone about this very topic of film photography! Here is a little clip from that rant, “…I’m so fed up with digital everything! I you are so right, i haven’t experienced those simple pleasures myself in so long, right now it seems like several lifetimes ago, thank you for the reminder. Yes, FiatLux, and well said. I say it to people all the time – if there is an audio show nearby where you live, go to it! Yeah, there will be a lot of digital and WiFi stuff there, but the analogue and tube-based product is worth putting up with the rest! There is a big analogue revival in the audio world and it will blow your ears into the…[Read more] -

Interesting thought. A node in computer science is a data structure that usually is set up like a tree, or a collection of fixed data points or other nodes. I’m not sure that analogue could handle such a concept, not only because it would be horrifically slow, but because there would be no fixed point. I don’t know. I’m not really a computer…[Read more]-
Yes I see your point on the speed obstacle. Perhaps complex symbols transmitted telepathically (human analogue) could overcome the speed issue? If you haven’t seen this video https://www.aetherforce.energy/kozyrev-aether-time-and-torsion/ – at about the 20 minute mark, it shows some symbols that were perceived by people in a mirrored structure.

Hmm…interesting. Very interesting. Well, my understanding (and not saying that it’s correct) is that the language of the Universe is colour, tone, and archetype. I believe that numbers may be an end-result of that, or stated differently, something that pops out of that.-
Working off of your thoughts…
Could a symbol (or archetype) in a complex form (encompassing at least 3 dimensions) be composed of natural senses (i.e. touch, smell, sight, taste, hearing) of which each causes an ‘affect’?
This is an interesting article on the sense and adds more –

Yes, very good, basic explanation. I’ve been torturing friends and family with my analogue vs. digital rants for the better part of a year now! I’m quite sure that most of them don’t get it, or more importantly, don’t actually care! They also don’t understand why an engineer (electrical) would have these issues. Not all of us engineering…[Read more]-
Superb. This would also seem to explain why digital can be hacked and analogue cannot unless a ‘converter’ is placed between the two signal types.

Hi PiPoe,
I really like the sound of that – “ . . . digital can be hacked and analogue cannot . . . “

Maybe a person has to experience, or have recent exposure to, analog music (or analog anything else) to appreciate/remember how different it is from its digital simulacrum. Fewer and fewer analog experiences are occurring. Then there’s always going to be a fraction of the population without the ability to perceive the richness of an analog…
-
Yes. And speaking of the “richness” aspect, I was looking into how pixels are created – it is number based. https://web.stanford.edu/class/cs101/image-1-introduction.html
and that led me to ‘tonal colour’ or timbre – quite interesting (this article breaks out the different timbre employed during the different music… -

Hi Fiatlux and hope you are well,

A question just popped into my mind. If analogue has no number base, how can the cosmological information field be composed of numbers? or, is it that numbers, which are just symbols with attached meaning… wait a minute. Could it be that digitizing numbers reduces their multi-dimensional meaning as symbols to a single dimension (flat earth…

No, the technician is right, you can’t do this. The main reason is that you’d have to have the second modem configured exactly the same as the first and this would create digital signal sharing conflict of which one is actually communicating with the Server. Your ISP would actually see the second modem, even though it really wouldn’t work…[Read more]-
Yes tremendously! Thank you!
-
On a different aspect of this topic…
Say we think of a ‘modem’ as a communication ‘node’. It would seem an analogue node could communicate with another analogue node without creating a signal sharing conflict whereas digital nodes do. Is this an accurate statement or am I missing something? My thoughts are going to ‘noise’ over distances.…-

It’s a tough one – how to run a forum. As a general rule, I don’t like forums, but their importance can’t be overstated, especially now that the planet has been sentenced to our own home prisons. Forums usually start out great, but as word gets out, they tend to attract trolls and “me-too’s”. Things often get re-posted multiple times, even…[Read more]-
Yeah, I guess restricting access couldn’t hurt but wouldn’t be a cure-all either. I, too, generally don’t like forums but am feeling like they’re more important than before, at least for me, and the group of thinkers gathered at this site is probably unlike any other.
By the way, if anyone has suggestions on other forums where there’s…
