    • My aunt has a collection of green glass but I don’t recall if she’s had it tested … as kids we enjoyed going with her to rummage sales and junk shops.

      • Margaret W, arsenic oxide was used to colour glass. Because of its oxidizing effect, it was employed as a fining agent to clarify iron containing glass. It will also fade the color of manganese and stabilize other colors (i.e. light green). In pot glasses large quantities are used to reduce yellow coloration.

      • Tell her to shine a “black light” (UV) on it. These are available cheap as little flashlights and can show up nice effects on glass. If there is anything resembling the pieces in the video they should NOT be kept or used around people, food or drink….

    • There is something nagging about this U-Glass from the 1940s: wasn’t there some top secret research going on and is it connected with this “unusual” glasswork?

This unusual book suggests that there is some kind of processing going on, with intake and emission of material associated with the rings. A form of mining and/or energy generation/processing? Does the fact that the alleged activity takes place in these rotating streams suggest a connection with electromagnetism and the hyperdimensional extension…[Read more]

Asking for an explanation is the contemporary equivalent of a peon requesting an audience with his Master; he(He) may or may not, according to his(His) whim, grant the request. If he(He) does, it does not in any way imply you have any significant control over his(His) actions. In fact, your petition reinforces the notion that he(He) *is* your Master.

Well I’ve been playing around with Stellarium today. I’m not sure how accurate it is, but it seems to be. It’s like having an observatory on your computer screen. Well since we have a Jupiter Saturn conjunction in Capricorn on the Winter Solstice, I wanted to see when the last one happened. I don’t think I missed anything, so what I got was…[Read more]

      • I have noticed discrepancies while using Stellarium, but I have yet to find a better program to use. I was doing the above exercise out of curiosity yesterday. If you go into sky and viewing options > markings > Equinoxes (of date), Solstices (of date), Ecliptic (of date). Just scrolling through some of the appropriate dates lines up at the icons on the ecliptic.

          • Cool, easier than doing it manually. Although on my little exercise yesterday it was interesting to see the pattern of how Jupiter was moving through the constellations. Especially going that far back and seeing how the Solstice was moving through the different constellations. So roughly without looking it up, the Winter Solstice 10,000 years…[Read more]
